Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Sr. Information System Security Engineer to join a highly capable agile team supporting a fast-paced, complex program. You will contribute to the security architecture, RMF, and cyber defense efforts across development, test, and production environments.

The role requires hands-on vulnerability testing, risk management, and collaboration with program managers and engineers to ensure robust security postures. A TS/SCI polygraph is required up front for this position.

Qualifications

• MS degree with 15-20 years of relevant information security experience.
• Strong understanding of security practices, RMF, and vulnerability testing with customer tools.
• Familiarity with common security tools and secure configurations.

Responsibilities

• Validate and verify system security requirements and designs for large-scale systems.
• Assess and mitigate security threats and risks throughout the program life cycle.
• Lead security planning, risk analysis, certification, and awareness activities.
