Job summary

JCS Solutions is seeking an experienced Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to support the NMCC Cybersecurity Team in Arlington, VA. You will provide cybersecurity expertise, perform technical security assessments, and help maintain secure enterprise environments, with HBSS and ACAS technologies on Windows and RHEL.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance, Security+ CE and related DoD 8140 IAT II certifications, and a strong systems engineering background across mission-critical operations.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Current Security+ CE (or DoD 8140 IAT II equivalent) and related certifications.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree with years of experience; 12 years may substitute.
• 5+ years of systems engineering and security experience.
• Ability to identify security risks across networks, OS, and data transfers.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot complex IT systems.
• Establish security controls to meet cybersecurity standards.
• Lead technical solution development from requirements to deployment.
• Perform and review security assessments of computing environments.
• Configure and maintain HBSS, ACAS, ePO, Security Center, and Nessus infrastructure.
• Apply STIGs, conduct SCAP scans, and manage vulnerabilities.
