Job summary

JCS Solutions is seeking an experienced Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to support the National Military Command Center (NMCC) Cybersecurity Team. You will provide cybersecurity expertise, perform security assessments, support architecture initiatives, and maintain secure enterprise environments.

Ideal candidates have strong systems engineering background, experience with HBSS and ACAS, and the ability to identify and mitigate risks across complex information systems while supporting

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• CompTIA Security+ CE is required.
• CCNA Security, GSEC, SSCP certifications are preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field; or a Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
• In lieu of a degree, 12 years of intensive experience may be substituted.
• 5+ years of experience with systems engineering including design and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot complex IT systems.
• Establish networking and security controls to ensure cybersecurity standards.
• Lead technical solution development from requirements through deployment.
• Perform security assessments of computing environments and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Configure and maintain McAfee policies and HBSS/ACAS environments.
