Job summary

Base-2 Solutions in Washington, DC seeks a Senior Information Systems Security Officer to safeguard networks and ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and availability at the highest standards.

You will design and implement IA/security systems for multi-enclave environments, perform risk assessments, and lead C&A activities to maintain ATO.

The role requires TS/SCI with CI Poly, heavy collaboration with engineers and security teams, and experience with STIG/ACAS/Xacta.

Qualifications

• Experience loading artifacts such as STIG checklists and ACAS scans.
• Experience implementing STIG checklists and mitigating scan findings.
• Experience supporting security assessment events and responding to questions from PAT team, ISSMs, and SCA.
• Experience coordinating with application leads, sysadmins, DBAs, developers, and testers to ensure systems are security compliant and achieve/maintain ATO.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, implements and integrates IA and security systems across multiple enclaves.
• Analyzes architecture and system functionality for multiple technologies.
• Prepares and delivers technical reports and briefings.
• Implements Risk Management Framework processes and supports security planning and risk analysis.
• Reviews C&A documentation and provides feedback on completeness and compliance.
• Loads artifacts and helps implement STIG checklists and mitigate findings.
• Supports security assessment events and responds to questions from PAT team, ISSMs, and SCA.
