Base-2 Solutions seeks a Senior Information Systems Security Officer to safeguard networks and systems to the highest standards, ensuring data security, integrity, and confidentiality across environments.

The role emphasizes implementing IA controls, conducting vulnerability assessments, supporting C&A activities, and coordinating with architects, developers, and IT staff to maintain ATO and secure operations.

Qualifications

• Experience loading artifacts such as STIG checklists and ACAS scans.
• Experience implementing STIG checklists and mitigating scan findings.
• Experience supporting security assessment events and answering questions from ISSMs and SCA.
• Experience collaborating with app leads, sysadmins, DBAs, developers, testers for security/compliance.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, implements and/or integrates IA and security systems for networks and enclaves.
• Performs or reviews security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and mitigations.
• Implements RMF for program systems/networks and maintains ATO.
• Loads artifacts like STIGs and ACAS scans and supports C&A activities.
• Works with developers and testers to ensure security compliance and ATO.
