Job summary

Base-2 Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Officer to safeguard computer networks and systems to the highest standards, ensuring data security, integrity, and confidentiality across complex environments.

The role emphasizes implementing the Risk Management Framework, performing security assessments, applying STIGs and ACAS scans, and coordinating with architects, developers, and operators to achieve ATO and secure enterprise solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience loading artifacts such as STIG checklists and ACAS scans.
• Experience helping to implement STIG checklists and mitigate scan findings.
• Experience supporting security assessment events and responding to questions from PAT team, ISSMs, and SCA.
• Experience working with application leads, sysadmins, DBAs, developers, and testers to ensure systems are security compliant and achieve/maintain ATO.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, implements and/or integrates IA and security systems across networking and enclave environments.
• Performs system installation, configuration, maintenance, patch management, and troubleshooting of IA and CND systems.
• Performs limited penetration testing and routine exploit analysis.
• Loads artifacts such as STIG checklists and ACAS scans and helps mitigate findings.
• Reviews certification and accreditation documentation and supports security planning and risk analysis.
