Job summary

Base-2 Solutions seeks a Senior Information Systems Security Officer to safeguard networks and systems, ensuring data security, integrity and confidentiality at the highest standards. The role emphasizes risk management, C&A support and cross-functional collaboration across technical teams.

Ideal candidates will have extensive experience with STIG/ACAS, risk management frameworks, and security assessments, ensuring systems achieve and maintain ATO across multiple enclaves and data protection

Qualifications

Experience loading artifacts such as STIG checklists and ACAS scans.
Experience helping to implement STIG checklists and mitigate scan findings.
Experience supporting security assessment events and responding to questions from PAT team, ISSMs, and SCA.
Experience working with application leads, sysadmins, DBAs, developers, and testers to ensure systems are security compliant and achieve/maintain ATO.

Responsibilities

Designs, develops, implements and/or integrates IA and security systems for networks and enclaves.
Performs risk analysis and mitigation planning throughout the program life cycle.
Supports certification and accreditation activities and ensures timely ATO.
Collaborates with engineers, DBAs and testers to maintain security compliance.
