Job summary

Mayer Brown is seeking a Lead Engineer: Information Security to join our global IT security team in Los Angeles, Chicago or Salt Lake City. You will implement and secure a broad set of cloud and enterprise platforms, lead security projects, and ensure resilient, scalable defenses across the Firm’s technology stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; equivalent experience considered.
• CISSP certification preferred
• Cloud security certifications/training preferred
• Knowledge of AI/GenAI security concepts preferred

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security controls across cloud and enterprise platforms (Azure, M365).
• Lead hands-on security engineering projects and ensure secure design implementations.
• Configure identity and access controls and enforce least privilege.
• Support DLP policy development and incident response planning.
• Collaborate with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and IT to meet regulatory requirements.
