We are seeking a Lead Information Security Architect to design and lead secure cloud architectures that protect critical data assets and infrastructure. In this role, you will develop system threat models, define and implement effective security controls, and guide teams in mitigating vulnerabilities across a complex data lake environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and mature security models, templates, standards, and procedures for secure application and cloud architecture, ensuring alignment with policies and standards.
• Consult with development teams to align solutions with risk appetite and compliance requirements.
• Review and design secure application and infrastructure patterns across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Conduct system and application threat modeling, analyze vulnerabilities, and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Evaluate and secure CI/CD pipelines and integrate security focused tooling into development and operations workflows.
• Lead constructive technical and business discussions to resolve conflicting perspectives and align on secure outcomes.
• Support continuous improvement by soliciting feedback and staying current with evolving cybersecurity practices and technologies.
• Participate in recruiting and administrative initiatives within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in information security or cloud architecture.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex security topics for both technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience working on distributed teams across multiple time zones.
• Familiarity with SAFe/Scaled Agile Framework.
• Experience with Databricks, Starburst, Collibra, or Immuta is a plus
• Ability to successfully complete a background investigation.
