Job summary

Beacon Bank is seeking an Information Security Engineer to support the security program by engineering, maintaining, and improving security technologies, controls, monitoring, and safe deployment. You will collaborate with IT, Risk, Compliance, and business units to protect systems and data.

The role focuses on secure architecture, incident response, and governance, with responsibilities spanning cloud, network, endpoints, and identity security in a regulated banking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience may be considered.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, GIAC, Security+ or Microsoft Security certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and enhance enterprise information security technologies across multiple domains.
• Improve access control, privileged access management, authentication, and conditional access.
• Assist with security assessments for systems, vendor solutions, and enterprise projects.
• Support audits and regulatory activities with evidence and remediation.
• Identify opportunities to automate security operations and improve alert quality.
