Job summary

Envestnet is seeking a senior Information Security Engineer to architect and implement security controls across cloud and on-prem environments. You will validate defenses, lead security projects, and raise the bar for AI security governance and risk management.

The role emphasizes collaboration with product, operations, and business stakeholders to ensure resilient, scalable WealthTech platforms that protect data and support growth.

Qualifications

• Progressive experience in security engineering, security architecture, cloud security, application security, or identity/security platform engineering in enterprise roles.
• Hands-on experience securing AI/ML systems, AI-enabled applications, and agentic ecosystems including governance and toolchains.
• Experience securing authentication, authorization, and trust models across complex enterprise environments, including API keys, OAuth/OIDC, and workload identities.

Responsibilities

• Assess security landscape using automation and offensive security techniques to validate controls.
• Integrate security controls into cloud and on-prem workloads.
• Lead or direct Information Security Engineering projects.
• Analyze risks and recommend innovative security solutions.
• Enhance AI security monitoring, detection, and incident response capabilities.
• Provide guidance to junior team members.
• Review architecture to ensure AI platforms are secure and compliant.
