Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts seeks a Senior Information Security Analyst to monitor and analyze cybersecurity measures and respond to penetration attempts by malicious hackers. This role, located in Springfield, MO, emphasizes proactive threat detection and incident response across the organization.

You will lead threat hunting, develop playbooks, and drive improvements in monitoring, SIEM content, and regulatory compliance. A Bachelor’s degree and strong analytical skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent level is preferred.
• Experience in security monitoring, incident response and threat analysis.
• Ability to develop and maintain incident response playbooks and runbooks.
• Strong written and verbal communication for reporting and training.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous monitoring and tuning of security tools to detect threats.
• Perform advanced log correlation and forensic analysis across systems.
• Escalate and manage end-to-end incident response.
• Develop incident response playbooks, tabletop exercises and threat simulations.
• Identify SIEM content gaps and integrate threat intelligence feeds.
• Participate in threat hunting to detect IOCs.
• Create and maintain technical and user documentation.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory codes.
