Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Sr Information Security Analyst to analyze and monitor cybersecurity measures, respond to penetration attempts, and lead incident response efforts. The role is located in Springfield, MO with no option for remote work.

The candidate will lead continuous monitoring of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM, perform advanced forensic analysis, and develop incident playbooks and simulations to improve detection capabilities.

Qualifications

• Maintains system/service and information security, integrity, compliance and continuity.
• Ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information.
• Determines and analyzes trends from data that is collected to assist in compiling reports that will help in decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous monitoring and tuning of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM to detect threats.
• Perform advanced log correlation and forensic analysis across systems.
• Serve as escalation point for complex security incidents and manage end-to-end response.
• Develop incident response playbooks, tabletop exercises, and threat simulations.
• Drive improvements in security monitoring by identifying SIEM gaps and new use cases.
• Participate in threat hunting to detect IOCs and adversaries.
• Collate and analyze data using preset tools and formats; work independently.
• Provide fault isolation and resolution for complex challenges.
• Create and maintain technical/user documentation to high standards.
• Help develop procedures for organizational security compliance and monitor implementation.
• Maintain knowledge of policies/regulatory codes and escalate noncompliance as needed.
• Explore external developments and assess potential impact to the organization.
