Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP seeks a Sr. Manager of Information Governance & Records Compliance to lead enterprise policies, controls, and reporting across jurisdictions.

You will translate regulatory and client requirements into practical standards and workflows, escalate issues, and drive measurable improvements in governance adoption. Responsibilities include coordinating with IT, Legal, and Compliance, overseeing AI governance, and ensuring data preservation, disposition, and deletion

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience implementing and monitoring compliance programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and enforcement of information governance and records compliance across jurisdictions.
• Define and document compliance standards, controls, and decision frameworks.
• Operationalize AI governance framework including policies, controls, and oversight.
• Oversee safeguarding of highly sensitive, confidential, and proprietary information.
• Coordinate among compliance, legal, IS, and business stakeholders to translate policy into practice.
• Identify and remediate nonconformities in compliance through audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
