Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is hiring an Information Assurance Policy and Compliance Certified Professional Senior to lead the Cyber Operations Team in a secure environment, focusing on protecting critical government information systems. The role emphasizes collaboration across federal and contractor settings, incident handling, and policy development.

You will work with Cisco ASA and Palo Alto devices, drive vulnerability management, and mentor staff while communicating complex security concepts

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in Cyber Security Operations (Tier-2 or higher) in a secure environment.
• 3 years of relevant information security experience (Tier-1 or Tier-2).
• MA/MS with at least 10 years, or BA/BS with at least 12 years of experience in information security and Cyber Security operations.
• Proficiency in TCP/IP, networking, and security product experience.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• GIAC, GSNA, or GCIA certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of contract award.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Cyber Operations Team, ensuring effective coordination and execution of cybersecurity operations.
• Oversee security operations including incident analysis, incident handling, and vulnerability management.
• Administer and manage security devices such as Cisco ASA and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Perform log analysis, intrusion detection, and system patching.
• Develop and implement information security policies and procedures.
• Train and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel, adapting to Federal and Contractor environments.
