Job summary

Accenture Federal Services seeks a Senior Information Assurance Policy and Compliance Certified Professional to lead the Cyber Operations Team and ensure robust cybersecurity in federal environments, including DOD, DOE, and law enforcement settings.

You will oversee incident handling, vulnerability management, and security device administration (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto), while guiding policy development and team mentoring. Active Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in Cyber Security Operations (Tier-2 or higher) in a secure environment.
• 3 years of relevant information security experience (Tier-1 or Tier-2).
• MA/MS with at least 10 years, or BA/BS with at least 12 years of experience in information security and Cyber Security operations.
• Proficiency in TCP/IP, networking, and security product experience.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Relevant certifications such as GIAC, GSNA, or GCIA, or the ability to obtain them within 6 months of the contract award.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Cyber Operations Team, ensuring effective coordination and execution of cybersecurity operations.
• Oversee security operations including incident analysis, incident handling, and vulnerability management.
• Administer and manage security devices such as Cisco ASA and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Perform log analysis, intrusion detection, and system patching.
• Develop and implement information security policies and procedures.
• Train and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel, adapting to Federal and Contractor environments.
