Evergy is seeking a Sr Info Security Analyst to protect critical infrastructure and support compliance with NERC CIP standards. The role oversees networking systems and firewall security, with documentation of cyber assets and collaboration with vendors, engineers, operators, technicians, and IT staff.

Based in Topeka or Kansas City, the position offers a hybrid work arrangement with 60% in office and 40% remote, and a pay range of $94,600 to $126,100.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, CS, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible cybersecurity experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Implement, administer, and optimize cybersecurity controls (SIEM, EDR/XDR, email security, NDR, cloud security, identity security).
• Research, implement, and maintain cybersecurity technologies across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Lead or support cybersecurity risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and remediation efforts.
• Mentor junior analysts and participate in on-call security operations.
