Job summary

Adventist Health White Memorial in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Sr. Infection Preventionist for a full-time, day-shift role.

You will support the Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) program to ensure a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors onsite. • Associate's degree in Nursing, Public Health, or related field is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Public Health, Healthcare Management or health science related field preferred.
• Minimum two years of healthcare experience, including at least one year in infection prevention.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and monitoring the IPC program across the organization.
• Collaborate with IP Manager to align IPC goals with organizational goals.
• Perform ongoing surveillance of HAIs and support outbreak investigation.
• Provide education and new hire IPC orientation.
• Report communicable diseases to local/state health authorities.
