Job summary

Zenith Healthcare seeks a senior nurse to lead the facility’s Infection Prevention and Control Program, coordinate staff education, and ensure compliance with CDC, CMS, OSHA and Massachusetts regulations.

The Facility Educator/Infection Prevention will conduct surveillance, lead training, oversee immunization and antibiotic stewardship, and collaborate with department leaders to promote patient safety and quality of care.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care, infection prevention, staff education, or clinical leadership.
• Knowledge of infection prevention standards and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with adult learning principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead Infection Prevention and Control Program with regulatory compliance.
• Conduct surveillance, audits, outbreak investigations, and data-driven quality improvements.
• Oversee antibiotic stewardship and immunization programs.
• Develop and deliver orientation and ongoing staff training and competency validation.
• Create educational materials and maintain training records.
