Job summary

Mytra in Brisbane, CA is seeking a Senior Systems Integration Engineer focused on safety. You will join the Systems Engineering team to design, integrate, and debug robust control, safety, and embedded systems using Beckhoff, Siemens, and off‑the‑shelf hardware.

You will collaborate across Electrical, Mechanical, Firmware, and Software teams to implement reliable interfaces, run commissioning tools, and support field deployments. Travel 0–10% as needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing, commissioning, and troubleshooting industrial control systems.
• Experience with safety-critical system architectures and safety communications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PLC-based control and safety systems, including distributed I/O and networks.
• Design electrical panels and control cabinets using ePLAN or AutoCAD Electrical.
• Collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical, Firmware, and Software teams to define interfaces.
• Develop service tools and scalable architectures for site deployments.
• Troubleshoot complex electromechanical systems across electrical, controls, embedded, networking, and software boundaries.
• Support commissioning and testing at Mytra facilities and customer sites.
