Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Senior Industrial Reliability Engineer to drive manufacturing performance and continuous improvement in cabinet fabrication. You will analyze processes, labor, equipment, and material flow to boost safety, quality, productivity, and capacity.

You will partner with Operations, Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to eliminate waste and implement data-driven improvements across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• Master's degree is a plus; proven manufacturing improvement experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and data-driven problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing processes, labor utilization, equipment performance, and material flow.
• Lead Lean and continuous improvement initiatives with cross-functional teams.
• Develop labor standards, time studies, and standard work documentation.
• Monitor OEE, MTBF, MTTR, and other KPIs; report to leadership.
• Collaborate with Maintenance to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
• Create capacity models and identify bottlenecks in cabinet manufacturing.
• Support capital projects with ROI analyses and project management.
