Qualifications

• BS degree in industrial, manufacturing, mechanical, or related field.
• 7+ years in industrial engineering, with automotive experience preferred.
• Travel to customer sites and manufacturing plants as needed.
• Strong lean, value stream mapping, and continuous improvement knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale lean initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
• Develop strategic facility flow improvements for material movement and floor utilization.
• Map current and future state value streams with measurable targets.
• Champion Kaizen events and drive cross-functional waste elimination.
• Establish metrics and monitor IE performance against objectives.
• Serve as the IE expert for labor productivity and manufacturing optimization.
• Lead labor planning for programs and develop staffing models.
• Conduct time studies, work sampling, line balancing, and capacity analysis.
• Own facility planning, layout, and master planning using AutoCAD.
• Support new product launches with manufacturing readiness and capacity planning.
