Job summary

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. seeks a Senior Service Technician to maintain, repair, and support large-scale refrigeration systems at customer sites. A strong background in commercial and industrial refrigeration and electrical controls is required.

The role emphasizes safety leadership, technical knowledge, and customer service, with a Monday–Friday schedule and 45–60 hour weeks. Compensation includes a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of relevant experience.
• High school diploma or GED; HVAC tech schooling preferred.
• Universal EPA certification OR ability to obtain.
• Must pass pre-employment drug testing.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Provide repair and maintenance for industrial ammonia and Freon refrigeration systems (100 HP–5,000 HP).
• Perform routine and emergency service, diagnostics, and inspections on compressors.
• Troubleshoot and repair control systems, alarms, and electrical systems.
• Lead safety practices and mentor apprentice technicians.
• Coordinate repairs with Service Managers and customers.
