Korn Ferry Group seeks a Senior Industrial Project Manager to lead the coordination of a large-scale manufacturing facility development in Ohio. The role requires interfacing with executives, engineering partners, contractors, utilities and investors, and guiding a phased manufacturing launch while construction continues.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in project management on industrial or manufacturing builds, strong executive communication, and the ability to operate across industrial sites

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of project management experience.
• Experience leading industrial or manufacturing facility construction or build-out projects.
• Senior or lead project management experience required.
• Strong understanding of industrial engineering, facility infrastructure, and construction coordination.
• Proven ability to manage relationships with general contractors, engineering teams, utilities, executives and corporate stakeholders.
• Ability to review and coordinate estimates, invoices, budgets, schedules and financial documents.
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Comfort working in industrial construction environments and executive/investor settings.
• Willingness to work on-site in Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day coordination of a large industrial manufacturing facility build-out.
• Serve as the primary contact among executive leadership, parent organization, contractors, engineers, utilities, investors, and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate project activity across owner, contractor, and corporate teams.
• Manage planning, schedules, estimates, budgets, billing, invoicing, approvals and related documentation.
• Review contractor estimates and invoices before final executive approval.
• Coordinate electrical, piping, utilities, facility services and potentially controlled or clean-room environments.
• Work with utilities and engineering partners and other external organizations.
• Support two-phase manufacturing launch, balancing construction with production.
• Identify risks, dependencies and decisions requiring executive attention.
• Translate technical, operational and financial information for diverse stakeholders.
• Maintain clear communication and accountability across organizations.
• Provide regular updates on progress, costs, risks, schedules and decisions.
• Represent the project with executives, corporate finance, investors, contractors and technical specialists.
