Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks a Senior Highways Project Manager to join the North Carolina Transportation Business Group. You will lead multidiscipline teams, manage budgets, coordinate client relations, and ensure on-time project delivery across Charlotte, Winston-Salem, Raleigh, and Wilmington.

Ideal candidates hold an Engineering degree with 10+ years PM experience and PE license; Master's degree and PMP are preferred. Roles offer a full-time schedule in NC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• 10 years of related experience.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
• Professional engineering license recognized by licensing board.
• MS Office and MS Project experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and strategic planning.
• Active participation in our employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate work of multi-discipline teams through the project lifecycle.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Establish and maintain client relations and participate in marketing, contractual, design and production meetings.
• Coordinate staffing and workload through project life cycle and ensure deliverables on schedule.
• Track financial aspects and adjust work to meet budget and schedule.
• Work with leadership for periodic project reviews; implement QA/QC; mentor staff.
