Thorpe Specialty Services Corporation seeks an experienced pipefitter to read blueprints, interpret P&IDs, and install piping systems in heavy industrial environments. You will measure, cut, thread, bend, and weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and non-metallic piping while coordinating with scaffolders and other trades.

The role requires strength to lift up to 50 pounds, willingness to work overtime, and strict adherence to safety policies and PPE usage.

Formación

• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Read and interpret P&IDs and blueprints to determine piping layout.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety practices.

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, P&IDs, and specifications to determine piping layout and work procedures.
• Measure, cut, thread, bend, and weld pipes using hand tools, machines, and welding equipment.
• Install, modify, and repair various types of piping systems including carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy, and non-metallic piping.
• Select proper materials, supports, and jointing methods based on project specifications and environmental conditions.
• Coordinate installation with other trades, such as scaffolders, insulators, and corrosion technicians.
• Perform pressure testing, leak testing, and inspections of completed piping systems.
• Follow company and customer safety policies, including proper use of PPE, fall protection, confined space entry, and hot work procedures.
