Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Senior Industrial Operations Engineer to drive operational excellence across a major East London facility. You will oversee complex industrial operations, guiding efficiency, productivity, and cost optimization.

Lead strategic initiatives, implement Lean and Six Sigma practices, and mentor engineering teams while coordinating cross-functional stakeholders to deliver large-scale upgrades and automation projects.

Qualifications

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
10+ years of progressive experience in industrial operations and engineering management.
Extensive knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence methodologies.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic plans for optimizing industrial operations and production processes.
Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing systems and workflows.
Analyze operational data to identify performance gaps and develop data-driven solutions for enhancement.
Manage large-scale projects related to operational upgrades, equipment installation, and process automation.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the East London plant.
Provide leadership and technical guidance to a team of industrial engineers and operational staff.
