Job summary

Commercial Metals Company is seeking a maintenance professional to support predictive maintenance across heavy industrial operations in Alabama. You will diagnose systems, utilize the SAP maintenance module, and participate in safety programs while ensuring reliable equipment performance.

The role requires 5+ years in heavy industrial environments, welding/fabrication experience, and strong hydraulics/pumps knowledge.

Qualifications

> 5 years of field experience in heavy industrial or manufacturing environments.
Experience with welding, cutting, fabrication, and equipment maintenance preferred.
Advanced experience with pumps, gearboxes, pneumatic systems, and rigging/heavy-load calculations.

Responsibilities

Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and upholds the CMC Safety Culture.
Diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment and tools to determine root cause.
Use SAP maintenance module in the execution of duties and document actions.
Work safely and maintain PPE compliance to prevent injuries.
Execute, manage, and improve the Predictive Maintenance (PdM) program.
Provide monthly equipment health reports with findings and action plans.
Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, planners, and other stakeholders.
Develop optimized maintenance strategies from a predictive maintenance perspective.
