Commercial Metals Company seeks a seasoned maintenance professional to diagnose malfunctions, interpret blueprints, and perform welding and fabrication tasks in a heavy industrial setting. You will use SAP to document actions and monitor equipment while upholding strict safety standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to read hydraulic schematics and diagnose pressure-related issues.
Experience with welding, cutting, fabrication, and equipment maintenance preferred.
Minimum 5 years in heavy industrial or manufacturing environments.
Experience rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand, walk, bend and work at heights in extreme temperatures.
Advanced knowledge of pumps, gearboxes, pneumatics, and rigging.

Responsibilities

Diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment and determine root cause.
Use SAP maintenance module in the execution of duties and document actions.
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics to plan repairs.
Monitor and inspect equipment for defects and remove defective parts.
Prepare mechanical maintenance reports by collecting and analyzing data and trends.
Work safely to prevent injuries by following PPE and safety rules.
Collaborate with team to meet quality and reliability goals.
