Job summary

CMC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our industrial team in Birmingham, AL. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment, weld and fabricate components, and participate in safety initiatives to uphold our Safety Culture.

Candidates should have welding/fabrication experience and be able to read hydraulics schematics, with a willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of field experience in heavy industrial operations or manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with welding, cutting, fabrication, and equipment maintenance preferred.
• Ability to read hydraulic schematics and diagnose hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Participates in CMC Safety Programs and upholds Safety Culture.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment and tools; determine root cause.
• Use SAP maintenance module to execute duties and record actions.
