Job summary

ATS is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance in a manufacturing environment in Augusta, GA. The role requires strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and the ability to source parts and optimize maintenance procedures.

The candidate should have an associates degree in a technical field or equivalent experience, with 5–7 years in the industry and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Associates degree with a technical focus and 5 years of related experience, or 7 years in the industry.
• Experience in predictive technologies, precision alignments, and maintenance of applicable process equipment.
• Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
• Experience in vibration analysis or laser interferometer operations, precision alignments, and maintenance of applicable process equipment.
• May be required to travel.

Responsibilities

• Performs expert level break-fix & preventative maintenance in line with industry standards.
• Identifies and sources parts and repair items; evaluates alternatives for cost/reliability.
• Independently performs maintenance according to standards.
• Leads CI activities and drives cost savings.
• Sets up and operates machining operations and possibly welding.
• Follows 5S and safety policies; trains junior staff.
• Updates CMMS history and analyzes data.
