Job summary

Golden West Packaging Group in Stockton, CA is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment following all processes and procedures. You will communicate issues to the maintenance manager and keep detailed repair records in Manager Plus to support uptime and reliability.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical skills, hands-on problem solving, and the ability to prioritize repairs.

Qualifications

• Strong industrial mechanical equipment skills.
• Strong electrical background.
• Proven troubleshooting, problem solving and decision-making ability.

Responsibilities

• Comply withSafety processes and procedures, EPA and OSHA regulations.
• Servicing and maintaining equipment including motors, conveyors, PLC, electrical issues, and all other equipment.
• Tracks all repairs in Manager Plus, identifying any recurring themes and making recommendations for repairs to maintenance manager.
• Performs daily visual inspections of building, grounds, equipment, and projects in process.
• Works with plant supervisors to increase reliability and uptime on equipment.
• Consults and coordinates with operations on repair schedules and any production delays that could happen.
• Fabricates parts as needed for repairs.
• Follows Total Preventative Maintenance guidelines.
