Job summary

Golden West Packaging Group in Renton, WA seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment across our packaging facilities. You will follow safety, EPA/OSHA guidelines, and document repairs in Manager Plus, partnering with plant supervisors to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of industrial maintenance experience, completion of an Industrial Maintenance apprenticeship, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Requires strong industrial mechanical skills and proven troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to prioritize repairs based on urgency and impact on production.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Complies with safety, EPA and OSHA regulations.
• Servicing and maintaining equipment including motors, conveyors, PLCs and related systems.
• Tracks repairs in Manager Plus and identifies recurring issues for optimization.
• Performs daily visual inspections of building, grounds, equipment and projects in process.
• Coordinates with operations on repair schedules and production delay mitigation.
• Fabricates parts as needed for repairs.
• Follows Total Productive Maintenance guidelines.
