Job summary

Graphic Packaging International is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a 24/7 production facility in California. You will repair, install, and service mechanical, electrical and fabrication systems, including PLC programming and ladder logic.

The role requires leadership to mentor Technicians levels 1–3 and ensure peak equipment performance. The position emphasizes hands-on maintenance, diagnostics, and safety while collaborating with OEM technicians.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Repair, install and align equipment; program PLCs.
• Read blueprints, manuals and schematics for repairs.
• Mentor Maintenance Technicians levels 1–3.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand/power tools.
• Perform maintenance to keep machines running smoothly and efficiently.
• Inspect drives, motors, belts, fluids, and replace filters as needed.
• Assemble, install or repair wiring, electrical components and piping.
• Diagnose mechanical problems using blueprints and manuals.
• Mentor and develop Maintenance Technicians levels 1-3.
