Job summary

FedEx is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to support industrial maintenance on material handling systems in Indiana. You will perform preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical, PLC and welding issues, read schematics, and use EAM to log data.

The role may involve project scoping for small local initiatives and flexible scheduling as needed. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in industrial maintenance, HS Diploma or GED, and relevant certificates or an associate degree.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years' experience in Industrial Maintenance required.
• Proficiency in mechanical power transmission and electrical systems.
• Working knowledge of PLC/Controls and welding/fabrication.
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical schematics and manuals.
• Experience with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on material handling systems.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and PLC faults.
• Interpret schematics to locate failures and determine escalation.
• Enter and retrieve data in EAM, and support safety requirements.
• Assist in developing scopes of work for small projects.
