Job summary

Perdue Farms, Inc. is seeking a Multi Craft Maintenance Technician to support safe, efficient plant operations across departments. You will prevent issues, apply strong problem-solving skills, and promote a proactive maintenance culture that emphasizes safety.

The role involves complex troubleshooting of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, PLCs, and equipment, with opportunities for mentorship and continuous learning. Shift: 1:00pm-9:30pm.

Qualifications

8+ years experience in Industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, problem-solving and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment.
Proficiency in hydraulics, mechanics, electrical, PLC, welding and rigging.

Responsibilities

Performs maintenance tasks and repairs on complex machinery, ensuring reliability and uptime.
Demonstrates/progresses to Maintenance Tech III expert proficiency within 10 months of hire.
Troubleshoots and maintains PLC hardware interaction and control systems.
Collaborates with production staff to resolve issues with urgency and safety.
Conducts root cause analysis on system malfunctions and efficiency opportunities.
Mentors junior technicians and provides hands-on training in equipment servicing.
