Job summary

Perdue Foods is seeking a Multi Craft Maintenance Technician (1st Shift) to keep our plant operations reliable and efficient. You will troubleshoot and repair complex hydraulic, electrical, and control systems, mentor junior staff, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across departments.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, strong safety practices, and the ability to work Monday–Friday 6:00am–6:00pm with commitment to quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in industrial maintenance with mechanical and electrical repair expertise.
• Proficiency in hydraulics, mechanics, electrical systems, PLCs, welding, and rigging with Perdue QEW certification.
• Strong communication and commitment to continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair complex plant machinery and control systems.
• Lead or mentor lower-level mechanics and technicians in servicing equipment.
• Drive safety-focused maintenance and cost-efficiency improvements.
• Document work records and prepare clear written reports; collaborate with production teams.
