Perdue Foods seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician III to join a team focused on safe, reliable plant operations and peak performance. You will apply advanced maintenance skills to improve machinery reliability and support production.

A strong foundation in industrial maintenance and ongoing certifications are valued. This role offers a target wage of $28.50 - $42.50 per hour, with annual bonus potential and overtime possibilities.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years experience in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment, or equivalent military experience.
• Expert proficiency in hydraulics, mechanics, electrical, welding and rigging.
• Intermediate proficiency with PLC.
• Commitment to continuous learning to achieve increasing levels of expertise.
• Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex machinery, conduct preventive maintenance, and ensure production efficiency.
• Provide operators with support around machine overall equipment reliability and collaborate with production teams.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment setup and production changeovers.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly and report unusual or dangerous situations.
• Follow safety standards and quality protocols to ensure production meets standards.
• Learn and observe safety precautions required by Perdue.
• Maintain work records and prepare clear oral and written reports.
• Work all required work schedules.
