Job summary

Perdue Foods seeks a Maintenance Mechanic II to keep facility operations at peak performance by diagnosing issues, performing preventive maintenance, and repairing or installing equipment. The role emphasizes reliability, safe operations, and minimizing downtime to support production.

The position includes a wage target of $24.50 - $37.00 per hour based on shift, experience, and qualifications, with an annual bonus potential and overtime opportunities. A comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• 3–5 Years experience.
• Strong reading, communication math, writing, and analytical skills.
• Must be proficient in at least nine (9) of the following areas: Reading Blueprints/Schematics, Cut and weld (Oxygen, Acetylene and Aluminum) all types of metals, Hydraulics, Pumps, Electrical wiring and motors, Filter systems, Pipe fitting/plumbing, Operation of shop equipment, Millwright, Sheet metal fabrication, Refrigeration systems, Pneumatics, Carpentry, Certified Electrician

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair equipment to keep facility running smoothly.
• Diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and repair or install equipment.
• Ensure safe working environment and report unsafe conditions.
• Respond to emergencies within 30 minutes when on call.
• Other duties as assigned by Leadership.
