Job summary

Perdue Foods is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic III to ensure reliable, high-performance operations by diagnosing complex issues and leading preventive maintenance to keep production running smoothly. You will troubleshoot, repair, and improve equipment reliability in a hands-on role within a poultry processing environment.

This position offers a target wage of $35.20 - $41.80 per hour, based on shift, experience and qualifications, with annual bonus potential and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

5 - 8 years experience.
Strong reading, communication math, writing, and analytical skills.
Must possess knowledge of hydraulic systems, conveyor systems and an aptitude for industrial machinery.
Must be proficient in at least six (6) of the following areas:

Responsibilities

Knowledge of and able to perform all the tasks required for a Maintenance Mechanic III.
Provide own personal hand tools needed and have a storage box to store.
Provide a means of notification/communication during non-working hours for emergencies.
Ensure shop and surrounding areas are kept clean by the removal of all debris.
Other duties as assigned by Leadership.
