Baxter International Inc. in Batesville, IN is seeking a Sr Maintenance Specialist to troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment across the facility. You will perform preventive and emergency repairs to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.

You will support production with CNC and robotic systems, collaborate with operators, supervisors, engineers, and vendors, and advance safety and maintenance best practices.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two-year technical college education preferred.
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic, and automated production equipment.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and equipment reliability best practices.
• Experience with CMMS software, preferably Maximo.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and drive corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
• Experience supporting Yaskawa robots, laser cutting equipment, hydraulic presses, and other automated manufacturing systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to respond quickly to production equipment issues.
• Understanding of manufacturing safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work effectively with vendors, machine builders, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to maintenance and equipment issues during regular hours, on call, or emergencies.
• Find the cause of equipment problems and determine the best solution.
• Take equipment apart, inspect, repair or replace damaged parts, reassemble, and test.
• Identify and order the correct replacement parts.
• Work with equipment vendors and manufacturer service technicians to troubleshoot, repair, and improve equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC equipment and related systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot robots and hydraulic press equipment.
• Create, organize, and maintain equipment documentation.
• Participate in training and continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure safe, accurate, and efficient work.
