Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Boonville, MO is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician V for the 3rd shift (11:00pm–7:30am). You will lead and train technical staff to use preventive maintenance to minimize downtime, diagnose complex electrical/HV issues, and ensure safe operation of HPMP equipment.

The role requires PLC, three-phase electrical knowledge, and strong teamwork. Starting pay is $29.05/hr with a $1.00 shift premium, plus comprehensive benefits and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Industrial Maintenance degree or equivalent from two year college or technical school or 10 years related experience.
• Ability to train all technical personnel on how to work safely on all HPMP equipment.
• Experience with PM programs and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train technicians in preventive maintenance.
• Follow safety guidelines and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Interpret blueprints and PLC schematics to diagnose issues.
