Job summary

Ideal Electric is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead hands-on mechanical and electrical maintenance while overseeing technicians, contractors, and budgets. You will plan preventive maintenance, troubleshoot down to root causes, manage parts inventories, and guide equipment upgrades, with a strong emphasis on safety and cross-department collaboration.

Applicants should have prior maintenance leadership experience, knowledge of MRP/ERP, ability to read blueprints with GD&T, and proficiency

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance in manufacturing environments.
• Strong skills in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems and maintenance data interpretation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T symbols.
• Excellent organization, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
• Valid driver’s license; travel by air if needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive maintenance to maximize uptime.
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting and repair of mechanical/electrical systems.
• Lead and supervise maintenance technicians and contractors.
• Prioritize and coordinate work orders to reduce downtime.
• Monitor and manage inventory of spare parts and supplies.
• Develop and maintain maintenance budgets and track costs.
• Identify process improvements and equipment upgrades for efficiency.
