The role demands a heavy industrial background, a zero-incident safety focus, and the ability to deploy reliability strategies (RCFA, FMEA, Lean, 5S) to protect equipment and profitability.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of maintenance supervisory experience in heavy industry.
• Expert knowledge of electrical/instrumentation systems, NEC.
• Proven track record with Mechanical Integrity and QA.
• Engineering degree preferred.
• Able to work in an industrial environment with PPE and at heights.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations for mechanical and E&I shops.
• Forecast workforce needs and coach skilled trades.
• Develop a rolling 5-year maintenance roadmap with RCFA, FMEA, Lean and 5S.
• Oversee outage planning, CMMS usage, and the Work Management Program.
• Forecast and manage budgets for cost reductions.

Lead a site-wide maintenance organization and transform asset management into a proactive, data-driven strategy.

You will direct skilled Mechanics, Welders, and E&I Technicians to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations across the facility.

Seeking a leader from a heavy industrial background who can champion a zero-incident safety culture while deploying sharp reliability methodologies to protect equipment and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Department Leadership: Direct daily operations for mechanical and E&I shops, forecasting workforce needs and coaching skilled trades.
• Reliability Strategy: Build a rolling 5-year maintenance roadmap using RCFA, FMEA, Lean, and 5S to shift from reactive to predictive operations.
• Operational Execution: Command major outage planning, maximize CMMS utilization, and govern the site Work Management Program.
• Financial Oversight: Structure, forecast, and manage annual and monthly maintenance budgets targeting short- and long-term cost reductions.

Requirements

• Experience: 4+ years of maintenance supervisory experience in a heavy industrial environment.
• Technical Compliance: Expert knowledge of electrical/instrumentation systems, NEC, .
• Programs & Tools: Proven track record with Mechanical Integrity, Quality Assurance, and large-scale outage execution.
• Education: Engineering degree is highly preferred.
• Physical Capabilities: Fit for an industrial environment (climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs, working at heights/confined spaces, and full-face respirator qualification).
