Job summary

American Trim is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations with advanced electrical, mechanical and automation troubleshooting. You will troubleshoot, install and modify automated systems including PLCs, robotics and transfer systems while mentoring other technicians.

You will collaborate with Engineering on new equipment, provide technical support across Maintenance and Production, and ensure safety and reliability of critical manufacturing assets.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson-level maintenance experience with advanced electrical, mechanical and automation troubleshooting.
• Experience with PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, mechanical schematics and engineering drawings.
• Welding, HVAC, and robotics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and automated systems.
• Install, repair and modify automated manufacturing systems.
• Mentor and train Maintenance and Production staff.
• Collaborate with Engineering on equipment installation and upgrades.
• Ensure safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
