Job summary

American Trim is seeking experienced Industrial Maintenance Technicians to support manufacturing operations with advanced troubleshooting of automated systems, PLCs, robotics and transfer equipment. This role includes working across electrical, mechanical and control systems, collaborating with Engineering to install and improve equipment, and mentoring teammates.

The position covers 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts with rotating weekends, paid base pay $26.00–$40.00 per hour plus a $1.50 shift diff on

Qualifications

• Experience in advanced electrical, mechanical and automation troubleshooting.
• Journeyperson-level maintenance or equivalent experience preferred.
• PLC troubleshooting and robotics experience is required or highly preferred.
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, mechanical schematics and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and automated systems using diagnostic tools and schematics.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for PLCs, sensors, servo systems, robotics and automated equipment.
• Assist engineers and maintenance with diagnostics and system support.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair and modify automated manufacturing systems including loaders, robots and transfer systems.
• Mentor maintenance and production staff in troubleshooting and reliability techniques.
• Travel to suppliers or other American Trim facilities as needed.
