Job summary

Colonial Group in Nashville, TN is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team in our high-volume industrial laundry. You will oversee daily preventative maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure safety and quality on the second shift (Monday–Friday).

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years supervisory and mechanical experience, familiar with electrical, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and OSHA/HazMat awareness; ability to lift 50 lbs, use tools, and work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Must have supervisory experience and ability to lead a maintenance team.
• Background in mechanical maintenance is essential.
• Experience with electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems is required.
• OSHA/HazMat knowledge is helpful for safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant equipment including industrial washers/dryers.
• Repair and replace equipment as needed.
• Perform basic plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work.
• Troubleshoot technical issues using manuals and schematics.
• Order parts, tools, and equipment per policy.
• Maintain a daily maintenance schedule and records.
• Conduct waste solids removal and wastewater hardware maintenance.
• Ensure safe, clean work environment and enforce safety procedures.
• Assist maintenance manager with task assignments, quality control, training and safety.
