Job summary

Colonial Group in Nashville, TN seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to service high‑volume laundry equipment and keep it running safely. You will perform routine preventive maintenance on industrial washers and dryers, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate parts and tools as needed.

This role requires basic plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work, the ability to read manuals and schematics, and the discipline to follow safety procedures, including lockout/tagout.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Familiarity with industrial laundry equipment and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintains plant equipment including high‑volume washers and dryers.
• Repairs and replaces equipment; performs basic plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work.
• Troubleshoots and solves technical issues using manuals and schematics.
• Orders parts and tools as needed following procurement policy.
• Maintains daily maintenance schedules and records.
• Performs waste solids handling from treatment process.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment and adheres to safety procedures.
• Overtime and weekends may be required.
