Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking an experienced Ironworker Journeyman to join our team. The role requires a minimum of four years of progressive experience in the industrial ironworker craft, with preferred NCCER and Advanced Rigging certifications.

You will read blueprints, set up hoisting equipment, secure steel members, and help align structures for permanent installation. The position involves travel to job sites as needed and working in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in Industrial Ironworker craft.
• NCCER and Advanced Rigging certificates preferred.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and select required materials for construction.
• Set up hoisting equipment for raising and placing structural steel.
• Secure steel members to hoist cables and guide into position.
• Verify alignment and bolt or weld structures as required.
