Job summary

Saulsbury Industries is seeking an experienced estimator to take ownership of cost estimates for bids and proposals across our heavy industrial projects. You will identify risks and opportunities to maintain a winning strategy while ensuring accuracy of takeoffs and schedules.

Responsibilities include preparing detailed estimates, soliciting quotes, and coordinating bid reviews with management to finalize markup and bid strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience with industrial electrical and instrumentation estimating.
• Competitive bid experience up to $20M in heavy industrial facilities.
• Knowledge of estimating strategies and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates based on scope, drawings, and specs to produce quantity take-offs and determine manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
• Solicit quotes from material suppliers, equipment vendors, and subcontractors.
• Distribute and maintain control of bid documents and establish construction schedules.
